If you love being active and the feeling of fresh air whilst on holiday, Mont Tremblant has everything you could wish for. There are a range of outdoor activities in Mont Tremblant to choose from so you’re bound to find something you like.
Mont Tremblant is renowned for its winter activities due to its reliability for snow. Sports such as skiing and snowboarding are always popular with a fantastic selection of pistes for all levels, but why not try something a little different?
Kids could have a gentle sleigh ride by horse for example whilst dogsledding and tubing provides fast fun. Alternative snow activities for adults range from relaxing ice fishing to challenging ice climbing to adrenalin-pumping snowmobiling.
Fun in the sun
Mont Tremblant isn’t all about fun in the snow however. The large outdoor space offers endless opportunities for activities. If you favour transport on wheels, you’re in luck because you have a fantastic selection to choose from. For a relaxing way to see the landscape there’s in-line skating and cycling while thrill-seekers have the options of dune buggies, go-karts and the race circuit for the ultimate driving experience.
There are also traditional sports too like a beautiful golf course and tennis courts to while away the hours. Rock climbing and the adventure course provide a physical test for those looking for a challenge.
Make a splash
Mont Tremblant is blessed with a number of lakes and rivers in its vicinity. What about a soothing paddle in a canoe or kayak? Or let the wind do the hard work with sailing lessons or a guided tour. If all you want to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery there’s also a lake cruise with commentary on the fascinating history and stories of the region. Fishing is also popular with rentals making it easy to arrive and throw your line in straight away. Adrenaline junkies can try wakeboarding, water skiing or rafting on the Rouge River.
To satisfy the whole family, Mont Saint-Sauveur waterpark can easily provide a whole day’s worth of entertainment with more than 4km of water slides. It also has all your favourite funfair rides including spinning teacups and rollercoasters for those who don’t like getting wet!
Take to the air
To truly enjoy Mont Tremblant’s stunning scenery you have to view it from above. There are many unique panoramic rides that can be taken in a helicopter or airplane. My choice would be the gentle ride in a gondola however which allows you to admire the view and take it all in. The summit also has an observational tower for a greater viewing platform and many trails to hike too.
Mont Tremblant is the perfect family destination for outdoor activities. There are many Mont Tremblant hotels to choose from so you’re never too far from having fun.
